Texas Governor Rick Perry announced that he will address the 2011 Republican Leadership Conference and Reagan Centennial Celebration.

Mr. Perry was first elected in 2000 and is the 47th governor of Texas. Elected as Lieutenant Governor in 1998, he assumed the office of governor when George W. Bush resigned to become President. Mr. Perry won an intense 2010 Republican primary for re-election against US Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison. He now serves as Chairman of the Republican Governors Association.
